We have the distinct pleasure of recognizing the accomplishments of my talented and dedicated Khoj team in a recent ERP cloudmigration.
We have performed countless cloud migrations, each with its own challenges, but this project was truly unique. The ERP system that we had to move to Microsoft Azure was very old, very rare, poorly documented – and business-critical. This was a high-risk migration based on these factors alone. However, when you pile on complex third-party integrations to other systems, the risk was through the roof!
We mitigated risk with months of discovery to uncover every possible unknown. We rolled our findings into a meticulous plan to move the system into Azure inside a 24-hour window. The move itself was tedious, as expected, and thankfully, uneventful. Within the system’s first day in the cloud, we were able to resolve 91 of the 98 reported issues.
It was wonderful to see how Khoj Information Technology Inc. and its customer came together as one finely tuned, blended team in which each member knew their part and played it fully. Heroes on the client side resolved many issues before they reached the small core project team.
Kudos to all the project heroes, customers,s and Khoj, alike. What a privilege it is to be part of something so special, perfect teamwork in action!
