The world was a different place when Microsoft first offered Window’s Virtual Desktop (WVD) in late 2019. The plan at the time was to help large enterprises move virtual desktop environments from their own data centers into the cloud.
During the pandemic years, Microsoft saw an influx of interest from some of the world’s largest enterprises, but it also saw interest from a new market segment, SMBs. This shift in markets led to a shift in Microsoft’s vision for the WVD. Rebranded as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) in 2021, this secure, scalable desktop and app virtualization service continues to evolve, improving the user experience and increasing support for a broad range of use cases.
In addition to being a recognized partner for SAP on Azure, we are happy to announce that Khoj Information Technology, Inc. has also earned an advanced specialization in AVD. This designation recognizes our ability to meet Microsoft’s highest standards of service delivery for this solution area.
Kudos to our Azure Cloud Ops, Citrix, and WVD App virtualization teams for their hard work and dedication towards earning this major accomplishment for Khoj! Well done, team!
Many thanks, also, to our partners at Microsoft and Nerdio! Click To Read More.
